Traditional East Asian Medicine
The Stichting (Foundation) for the Study of Traditional East Asian Medicine (STEAM) is dedicated to the study and investigation of Traditional East Asian Medicine (TEAM) practices, such as:
Acupuncture [鍼]
Moxibustion [灸] and related practices
Herbal medicine traditions, such as that of traditional Chinese medicine (zhongyao [中 藥 ]) and Kampo [漢方],
Massage traditions, such as Tuina [推拿], Anma [按摩], Shiatsu [指圧]
and Self-development traditions such as Taijiquan [太極 拳 ], Qigong [氣功 ] from Asia and in recent decades, the West.
